The 3XL series of speakers hold nothing back in performance for the serious
PowerBass fan! The proprietary kevlar/glass fiber/pulp cone
that is designed
to deliver the most accurate sound reproduction yet, is stiff but lightweight
for tight, controlled mid-bass. Highs are handled by a silk dome tweeter for
accurate and smooth high frequencies and are extremely detailed and crisp
without sounding
harsh.
Now lets talk cool. These PowerBass speakers use
the 3-0 system, a 3-ohm impedance for more efficient use of your amplifiers
power. Our amplifiers make more power as the impedance drops. Butyl rubber
surrounds are standard as are 12 dB/octave crossovers with tweeter attenuation
(on component systems) to offer fine adjustments after the speakers are
installed.
